The Couch Potato

Welcome to my site. Please forgive the plain look of it. I've only just begun this project, but eventually it will become bigger and better than Yahoo, I promise!

So, what's it all about? I'm a bit of a popular culture junkie. I love movies, and I'm fascinated by the strange and ever-changing nature of fame and celebrity. So I decided to create a resource site dedicated to the subject.

So, to start: There are a few good film-related sites to the right. And you can read some of my thoughts on the subject in my blog, linked at left. I will add more links to interesting film sites ASAP, and other stuff soon after.

If you are a tragic DVD addict like myself, then click on the two DVD rental banners below (just under the poster banners).

They're for Australian based companies that offer a brilliant service: You pay a small monthly fee and have access to a vast library of DVDs that are posted to your door. No scouring the shelves; no walking to the video shop. You can spend your time enjoying the films instead.

Please return from time to time. This site will grow slowly but surely and eventually become an interesting and amusing site for other couch potatoes from all over the world.
